PBS Program "In The Life" Looking for FTMs for Show

"In The Life", an LGBT newsmagazine on public television is looking for potential subjects for a segment about the FTM transitioning process. This documentary-style segment would be produced with sensitivity, and would explore how the transitioning process is affecting an individual's partner, family, friends and perhaps, their children.

Indy Boyz is a peer-led social/support group for female-to-male transgendered people (FTMs) in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Members help one another by sharing experiences and useful information. We have been meeting regularly since 1998. Though our goal is to serve the central Indiana area, we welcome and have regular attendees from other regions of the state as well as from other states!

The group welcomes persons assigned female at birth or raised as female who are exploring more masculine or male gender identities. We also welcome friends, family, significant others, and allies of FTM-identified persons, including MTFs.

(SEATTLE, WA) FTM 2006: A Gender Odyssey is a national conference for masculine-identified people who were assigned female gender at birth. It is a place for us to gather together, share our lives, learn from one another, and celebrate our communities. This conference offers a variety of workshops and discussions addressing the practical aspects of trans lives. Accompanying events include a vendor fair, art exhibit, BBQ, cabaret, all-ages dance, and more.

This conference is also open to anyone interested in the topics to be covered.
